■文法

(1)副詞の比較級・最上級 副詞にも原級、比較級、最上級の形があり、その活用は形容詞と同様、比較級は原級にer、 最上級は原級にestをつける。 例外として、well(よい)−better−bestがある。 また、lyで終わる副詞は、比較級ではmore、最上級ではmostをつける。 例外として、early(早い)−earlier−earliestがある。 erがつく比較級の文 Manami runs faster than Sukuharu. (まな美はすく春よりも速く走れます。) A 副詞の比較級   B   moreがつく比較級の文 I walked more slowly than my brother. (私は弟よりも遅く歩いた。) A 副詞の比較級   B   ※副詞の比較級の慣用表現として、like A better than B(BよりもAが好き)などがある。  I like social studies better than math. (私は数学よりも社会科の方が好きです。)   A 副詞の比較級   B   estがつく最上級の文 He is (the) fastest of us all. (彼はみんなの中で最も速く走れます。) A 副詞の最上級   B   mostがつく最上級の文 He moved (the) most quickly of the three.
