■文法

(1)形容詞 big（大きい）、red（赤い）、new（新しい）などものの性質・色・状態を表す単語を形容詞と いい、名詞を修飾したり、述語になったりする。 名詞を修飾 This is an old bag.（これは古いかばんです。） He is a tall man.（彼は背が高いです。） I want a cold drink.（私は冷たい飲み物がほしい。） 述語 That girl is pretty. 混合 The long story is interesting. (2)形容詞とa、an 形容詞の最初の発音が母音の場合、aはanになる。 ...... This is an egg. （これはタマゴです。） This is a big egg. （これは大きなタマゴです。） This is a book. （これは本です。） This is an old book. （これは古い本です。）
